The applications I am introducing enables you to create gesture recognized shortcuts for windows. To enable gestures you just need to have mouse with you.
The gestures can be used to create short cuts for any application you like or any command i.e. for copy draw C with mouse, to undo draw Z.
Two free to use applications lets you enable mouse gestures.
1. Sensiva: Sensiva is an old application for gestures. It is discontinued by the developer company, still you can find it on the net.
2. Stroke It: Stroke It is a free for personal use type of software. The software download size is very small (around 150kb). This software performs similar to sensiva.
Some web browsers provides in-built gestures e.g. Opera, Firefox. (Wiki Reference) You can hold right click and drag to Go back. Some browsers have modules to enable gesture recognition. It is faster to browse with gestures.
Intel is investing money on gesture recognize technology. Their R & D is working on webcam gestures to operate PC. Meanwhile have a look at gesture operated motion sensing games developed by students at IIT techfest.
