Protect your PayPal account from country limitations
According to a recently read thread on Digital Point Forums, PayPal limits account when you are not in your home country. You need to take care before you leave your home country and want to access your PayPal from foreign country.
According the thread starter when he left his home location and accessed his PayPal from foreign country PayPal limited his account for account security reasons. Although he mailed PayPal before leaving home location, the account got limited.
The thread has got many opinion from experienced people but the conclusion was you need to inform PayPal by phone before leaving your home country. You need to tell them the country you are visiting and your account details.
PayPal has toll free phone number. If you don’t inform them and if it results in the limitations then you need to submit documents like passport, driving license etc to lift limitations. Sometimes they need you to send it by fax.
Also, it should be noted that PayPal limits account for receiving very less amount frequently. So I would advice not to involve in money chains that sends some cents every hour or some amount of time.
