Reduce eye stress due to long hours of computer usage by just a mere software

Many people, like me, must have to work on computer more than 15 hours a day. Sometimes, it is late night work rather than daytime work. In night your screen becomes extra bright for your eyes because of dim light surroundings which becomes a major reason for eyes stress.

Some people are unable to sleep quickly after long duration computer work. They have complaints of eye pain and stress. Many doctors suggests using anti-glare glass. Not all people see it worthy to spend around 100$ for such glass.

Here is an awesome solution for you at no cost. A software is available in market which sets your screen color exactly to your surround lightings.

How this helps reducing eyes stress ? Your eyes see uniform light spread around you, everywhere, also in your screen. So eyes doesn’t have to take stress in adjusting intensity.

F.lux is a freeware. It takes your location and light type as an input. It adjusts your display colors through out 24 hours.

Suggested future improvements:

Instead of manual setting scan light environment using webcam. This will increase accuracy.

Try the software for a few days and let me know how it treats your eyes.
