Link Your Friends Anywhere, Same As Twitter,In Facebook Instead Of Just Name

Recently Facebook acquired FriendFeed, so it was obvious that we will get better feed sharing now.

As a part of that Facebook added a twitter like feature in feed to link your friends’ profile anywhere in Facebook. In twitter to link anyone’s twitter account we put @ and instead of plain text you will see link to the account, same in Facebook the linking is limited to the persons who are in your list or page/group of which you are a fan.

Facebook has named this feature as tagging. Unlike twitter if you copy paste a name with @ sign from somewhere the account wont get linked, you must have to type it or some portion of it and then choose a name from dropdown. Hope Facebook team will correct it someday. Also Facebook removes @symbol once it is linked and posted successfully.
