Most of my friends left twitter just after creating their account. Reason was they don’t know what to do on twitter ? Many people face same problem, get bored sometimes and quit it.
Some people start following good people around there, but then also what to do when no one is following you, no one is re-tweeting your tweets and replying to you. zero follower state of account makes you feel lame and bored ? Tweet something on trending topic. People following trending topic will see your tweet and if they like it , they will re-tweet it or reply to it. It will increase your connections.
Reply to people from trending topic or just reply to tweets of random people. Don’t shy thinking they are not knowing you. Twitter is a world of followers, thousands of people one follow and thousands of people follow them back. They don’t know everyone ! Just do it.
Share your twitter account with Facebook friends, get twitter widget for your website.
Wear a twitter t shirt. Include twitter in your text messages. Visibility matters in marketing.
