IIT Bombay Announces Dates For Techfest 2011

Indian Institute Of Technology ,Powai, Bombay announced the dates for Techfest 2011. IITs are ranked first amongst all the universities of India. They are highly recommended and credited for their technical education. Techfest 2011 will be held on 7-9 January 2011.

Techfest is Asia’s largest college technical festival with about 30,000 visitors every year not only from India but also from neighboring countries. The IIT turns into a technical center with the contribution of the exceptional technical innovations by the Asian people.

Last year the Techfest was held from the 22nd to the 24th of January. This time it is about two weeks earlier. Techfest 2010 was a big success. I blogged the whole Techfest event live on TeraBug. Many of my readers appreciated it and are still reading the posts for ideas and guidance.

There is a lot more to Techfests’. Participants can play to win prizes and visit different companies’ promotion stalls to be eligible for discounts and prizes.

For those of you, who cant be a part of it physically have an opportunity to get involved in the online events offered by the Techfest . They start a little early than the regular festival around august. There will be events like treasure hunt, quizzes and so on.
