How to detect Fake Feedcounts

Ever thought a blogger can fool you in matter of his readers or subscribers?

Yes if you see regular readers like 12000+ or 30000+ it may not the real count of the readers.They may be fake.

Why do blogger fake their feedcount ?

Main reason for faking feed count is human minds.If I see 10k+ readers of a blog I must think that oh wow! 10k readers .Must be great content . 10k people can’t be wrong.

This tendency increases subscribers and blogger get good amount of readers by fooling them.

How to fake feed count or number of readers ?

You generate chicklet in feedburner.Instead of doing that go to some blog having the real number of readers you want.Save his image for chicklate by right clicking and selecting copy/save image.

Upload this image to your server and put it in your template using <img src=imagepath.jpg> html code.

Now main part how to detect feed count is faked or real.Well I have coded a simple tool for it.Click here to visit it.

Just go there and enter RSS/Feed Url.
