Google Increased Adwords minimum prepayment and activation fees for India
Google mailed me in this morning about increasing Adwords fees and Minimum prepay amount.I am lucky,I had activated my account just before a day.I did it just for a try.
What google said?
Advertisers creating a new AdWords account on the Indian Rupee (INR) will be charged an activation fee of INR 250, rather than the previous activation fee of INR 60. The purpose of this increase is to bring the India activation fee in line with that of other countries.
We’ve increased the minimum prepayment amount to alleviate the common problem of small payments being used up very quickly. This results in unwanted ad down-time until the advertiser can replenish his or her account balance. With a higher prepayment minimum, advertisers will have to make prepayments less frequently, which will help keep their ads running continuously.

So now you need to spend more to get into Adwords
