Google Adsense Dart Cookie – Privacy Policy Update More Earnings

I will earn more from my websites/adsense by this 9th April 2009

Recently,Google aqquired DoubleClick.com.This is also service like Adsense but they were using DART Cookie.

What is DART cookie?

DART cookie is usually tracking your activity. What you searched in past, what site you visited. From where you came etc.

Now Google is going to use this DART cookie with Adsense. It’s useful to Publishers.

That’s why I will earn more.Because it shows the exact Ads depending upon user interest.

For example my blog is tech blog but somewhere it got a forex word in it.Google listed it in search results.A user seaches for forex and comes to my blog but what !!! There is nothing related to forex here but STOP there is something! What? My adsense ads!

Why? just because user came here searching for forex so all ads will be related to forex. So looking in my blog user will find only one thing related to forex and thats my Adsense ads.So ultimatelly it will give me high CTR even if the user was not mine as he was interested in Forex.

Can I change or Disable DART cookie?

Yes,you can.Visit this page for more.http://www.google.com/privacy_ads.html

Is it compulsary to update privacy policy?

No,Its not.Still I recommended that you should update it so DART ads will be shown on your website,Deadline for it is 8th April 2009

Here are some Examples for Privacy Policy

Why do you say it is not required? This is straight from the email:

“…require you to review and make any necessary changes to your site’s privacy policies.”

I listed an automatic privacy policy generator if you would like to continue putting in hard work to make money for Google here:

    AdSense Privacy?

You can also find a global advertising opt-out cookie at the link above.

    Thanks,
