Full Throttle Inferno The Real But Little Size Car Race | IIT Bombay Techfest 2010 Live Blogging
On KV Grounds, IIT Bombay I just saw car race, but it was different than other car races that we see normally on our TV screens.
Full Throttle Inferno is a must watch car race if you are fan of F1. In inferno cars having mechanical engine is being operated by participants, which can have maximum of 4 cc engine. It is really fun to drive and watch 4 cc engine little cars being operated by remote controller.
Satyabrat Singh, one of the qualified participants, told me that “You have to finish two laps in minimum time, engine gears can be bought from market but other parts must be made by the participants”.
The race will make you crazy when a car strucks to boundary just before a second of crossing next check point. I am eager to see the superfast 4 cc car. Though the track is the most difficult than ever to drive cars. I can see some cars are not completing even single lap. “I feel like I am taking part in a real race and driving the cars is a real fun” Roshan from G. H. Raisoni college, Pune said.
Today is the first day of the Techfest, Techfest is scheduled between 22-24 Jan ‘10. You can visit IIT Bombay during the festival to have the fun live.
