“We waste water while applying soap to hands, so I thought of creating a tap that can be operated by foot.” a first year I.T. student of JSS Academy of technical education said. He added “Usually people use sensors and similar things for the purpose but they are that costly that everyone can’t afford them.”
As a solution of this I created foot operated tap using the same components of a normal tap.
He adds that such type of taps can be made by spending 200-300 Rs, where as sensors costs a lot. The foot tap is so easy to operate that a child can operate it.
Arpit have created the tap with the help of his colleague Aparna Shukla. They have done nice job to save the water. Wishing them good luck.
