Airtel launches application store in India

After the success of apple store Airtel launches its application store in India. The application store will be known as Airtel App Central.
At the time of launch it will have applications divided in 22 categories and will cost Rs. 5 upwards for an application.Categories include games, social networking, navigation, themes, music, business, travel, books. Users will be able to develop their own apps and put them up free or for sale in the store.
To visit app store visit Airtel Live from your airtel mobile or sms “app” to 54321 (toll free). To check application central on internet visit http://www.airtel.in/apps/index.html
